The Rattle Space is host to The Rattle Community. It has great spaces for writing, production, mixing and recording, all sitting in the historic site of Tobacco Dock.
The fully equipped studios are designed to be frictionless and easy to set up, so you don't have to worry about fiddling around for the first hours of a studio session.
We have a fantastic list of microphones and equipment here, and a list of what you need to download when you’re using your own laptop. We recommend that you bring your own laptop to use your favourite software, although we have a Mac Mini ready to use in Studio 1, not in this studio, Studio 2, with all the software needed.
Studio 2 is a cosy 2 person production room - it’s great for the initial production phase, recording, podcasting and writing.
We take bookings on request, and will be happy to slot you in a day we’re not booked.
We’re open from 10AM to 10PM. We are closed Thursdays and Sundays.
