Heronsgate Rehearsal Rooms is a venue for musicians to practice, rehearse & teach in as well as being ideal for audition sessions. We offer 3 different rooms for hire - The Music Room with a Steinway grand, The Fortepiano Studio with a fortepiano (copy of a Fritz 6.5 octaves) and The Harpsichord Room with a copy of Colmar Ruckers Harpsichord by Mimi Waitzman (4.5 octaves low D to high G) - see separate listings for each space.
The Fortepiano Studio has a very fine copy of a Fritz fortepiano, allowing for varied repertoire. This garden studio is a particularly tranquil space & has room for a quartet size group to rehearse alongside the pianos.
There is a library of classical piano and chamber music, music reference books, as well as many vinyl music recordings, CDs, and high quality HiFi.
The rooms are within a lovely family home, the instruments having been recently inherited. There is access to amenities including kitchen, as well as high spec HiFi. There is in a large garden which provides a wonderful relaxing space to stretch the legs, as well as nearby woods for more extensive walks.
The location of the house is within the peaceful and leafy Heronsgate heritage village, located very close to Junction 17 of the M25, and with Chorleywood Station nearby. This is on the Metropolitan line as well as fast Chiltern Trains from Marylebone. For overseas visitors we are locate a mere 11miles (20 minutes drive) from Heathrow airport.
