Grade II* St John's has reopened after a spectacular restoration by award-winning architect Eric Parry, which has transformed it into one of the most sustainable and spacious heritage venues in central London. The landmark Waterloo church on the roundabout provides one of the best contemporary performance, event, training and meeting spaces on the South Bank. St John’s vast open nave has been restored and enhanced for worship, concerts and unique arts events. The crypt level at St John's unusually, benefits from natural light and glimpses of greenery from the surrounding award-winning churchyard garden.
SJW now has three brand-new, light, bright and versatile new meeting rooms, ideal for smaller conferences, presentations, training days, workshops or get-togethers for remote teams. Your guests and colleagues will enjoy a warm welcome in our peaceful building. They’ll enjoy taking a break in the churchyard garden at lunchtime. And almost everyone finds it easy to get to Waterloo!
The Mendelssohn, Jubilee, and Octavia rooms can all accommodate up to 40 in a range of formats and benefit from high ceilings and natural light. They are all equipped with screens, making them ideal for hybrid meetings. Lunch platters can be provided by pre-arrangement with our own environmentally-friendly Food Market.
