Located in Hammersmith Council’s old archive building, we have a range of spaces ready to be hired.
Originally designed by Ralph Erskine and Lennart Bergstrom, SCRUM Studios was built alongside our sister venue The Ark in the early 90s. Our internal timber-cladded mezzanine, warren-like interior and distinctive curvature creates a space built for bringing people together.
Step beyond the traditional blank canvas. Scrum Studios isn't just a space; it's a pulsating center of creative energy. Our 1000 square footage warehouse boasts a unique blend of Industrial Chic: High ceilings, exposed brick walls, and concrete floors provide a raw and versatile backdrop.
Our headquarters is in London, where we began by taking over empty commercial spaces and transforming them into thriving community hubs for developing artists, as well as the creative home for rehearsals. From our new home at SCRUM Studios in Hammersmith, we will take Twelfth Night on tour to postcodes around the country identified by ACE and DCMS as under-funded for the arts, along with our package of education and training resources. In this way, we bridge the cultural opportunity gap between London and the regions. We aim to empower the next generation of theatre in the UK, especially in the locations with the fewest arts resources.
