The Insurance Hall has been the home of the UK Insurance sector for over 80 years. The building was designed in the early 1930s and officially opened on 28th June 1934 by His Majesty King George V.
In 1919, Sir Frederick Rutter, President of the Insurance Institute of Great Britain and Ireland laid out his vision for a grand building to house the Chartered Insurance Institute. Steeped in rich history, heritage and architectural significance, The Insurance Hall is today one of the most prestigious buildings in the City of London.
