Lumiere London is excited to announce the opening of their new studios in Underwood Street, 7 minutes walking distance from Old Street Station (Northern Line, National Rail). The new space is 5,850 sq ft in total, separated into the New White Loft of 2,092 sq ft, the New Victorian Loft of 2,433 sq ft and break-out area; & The Chalet; of 684 sq ft, connecting both studios in the middle.
Lumiere London’s CEO and founder Carlos Lumiere will make sure to recreate the atmosphere and look of our most successful studios in Southwark, the White Loft, the Victorian Loft and the Gallery.
‘We are really thrilled about the new endeavour’, says Carlos. ‘We have listened to our clients of many years who asked for beautiful unique spaces in central London with modern facilities. We are particularly excited as our new studios have a much greater capacity, enabling Lumiere to accommodate clients with more than 180 delegates per studio.’ For the new spaces Lumiere London is going to occupy the third floor of Underwood Works, a former paper production house built in 1908.
Completely refurbished, the building has a modern reception providing a large communal area, two passenger lifts, cycle storage facilities, air condition and wheelchair-friendly access and bathrooms.
The transport links are exceptional with transfer times from King’s Cross St Pancras (Circle, Piccadilly, Hammersmith & City, Northern, Metropolitan, Victoria Line, National Rail and Eurostar), Bank & Monument (Central, Northern, Waterloo and City Line, DLR), Moorgate (Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan and Northern Line and National Rail) and London Bridge Station (Northern and Jubilee Line and National Rail) of five minutes via the underground.
